Knitting with care: finding flow in small things

Hi! I’m Tania — a knitter, deep thinker, and lover of quiet moments. I created this space to share my work and to reflect on how knitting helps me slow down and stay present.

I currently live in Tbilisi, Georgia, a place where warm days and city walks inspire many of my ideas. But no matter where I am, I keep coming back to the same feeling: peace in the rhythm of stitches.

And knitting, for me, is more than craft. It’s a knitting with care — both for myself and for others.

My knitted accessories are small reminders to pause and notice the beauty of everyday life. Whether it’s fingerless gloves, headbands, or gadget cases, each piece is made with care. And I believe that when we care for small things, we build gentleness into our days.

Because in a fast world, doing something slowly is an act of presence.

This space is for anyone who longs for balance, simplicity, and a deeper connection — through handmade objects and the quiet stories they carry. And whether you make something with your own hands or choose a crafted item, that choice becomes part of your story too.

There’s a kind of flow that happens. Psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi described it as a state where action feels effortless and meaningful. But it’s not about drifting. It’s about moving with intention, step by step.

And knitting with care helps me get there.

When we see our small steps adding up, we feel grounded. We remember that slow progress is still progress — and sometimes, it’s even more lasting.

So Flowthen is my gentle reminder: and then… flow.
